Geographic Information Systems Training
Training in the use of GIS (MapInfo) can also be provided with a common sense approach that is relevant to the demands of ecological consultancies. Often courses in GIS are designed to show off the many features of the software. However, many of these features will not be relevant to your specific requirements whilst others will be. Once booked the programme can be tailored to suit your needs and to answer your problems. For those inevitable questions that crop up a week later continuing telephone support can be arranged. Remote desktop working is not currently available but it is a service that we hope to be able to provide in the future. |

There are many short cuts and methods that can make using GIS easier and simpler which aren't taught on other courses. How to automatically create legends with the minimum of effort, basic table structure and printing to scale for example.
