Anna Moody BA (Hons.), MSc.

Anna joins SNA having spent over 16 years working in nature conservation since gaining her MSc in Environmental Management from the University of Stirling in September 2000. She has worked for the RSPB in Scotland, setting up the Volunteer and Farmer Alliance project there before moving to Newcastle upon Tyne where she was the RSPB's conservation officer for North East England for nearly four years. In this role she was responsible for responding to case work, including wind farm applications, within the region that could affect protected species and habitats and also worked on a number of species recovery projects.

After leaving the RSPB, Anna became the Site Manager of Alkborough Flats Managed Realignment Site on the Humber Estuary, a position she held for over nine years. The delivery of this role has given her extensive experience of habitat creation and management, particularly of reedbeds, grasslands and wetlands. She also has extensive experience of surveying for protected species including badger, otter and water vole and carrying out bird surveys.

Anna has a particular interest in mammals and birds and is an active member of the Lincolnshire Bat Group.
